My Testimony :)

I know that Christ lives. I have no doubt in my mind. I know that he is there for me when I don’t think I can make it through the day or even the next five minutes. He is my Savior and I am forever grateful that he would take on my every sin and my every sorrow. I have no doubt that I would not make it without him in my life. I have gained a testimony of the temples and the peace it brings to my life and others around me. The blessings that come from the temple are unlike any other I have ever experienced.
The power of prayer is awe inspiring. It gives me hope to know that I can talk to my father in heaven whenever I need him, when talking to others is not enough. Prayer has changed my life.
I have recently discovered my scriptures for the first time. Yes I had them. Yes, I read them. But, I didn’t understand the effect they had on me until I started to fall away and not read regularly. There is more contention. There is less peace in my life. The scriptures have become my haven when it feels like there is no reason to be who I am and to live. Knowing that other people have stood up for there standards and fought for them just like I am doing now is an amazing example to me.
The Living Christ has changed my life, and I have not even finished memorizing it yet. I have become closer to Christ through just reading this sacred document. But, when I started to memorize it, it is a whole different experience. When I am done memorizing this document I will sign my name at the bottom along with those men who wrote this and were called of God. I will sign it saying that I know that this is true and Christ is an amazing person.
In the world today a lot of things are being thrown at us: be skinny, have a clear face, just smoke that one cigarette it won’t hurt you it is only one, just take that drink. But, these are not right. Being ourselves is the best thing. Being the way God created you is the best thing. You and I are beautiful people just the way we are, the image that God had when we were created. Keeping morals and values high is hard. But, I know that when I do this I am blessed. I have learned that moral cleanliness is very important. It not only brings us closer to the Lord, it also helps us be worthy us being sealed to an eternal companion in the Lord’s temple.
I am thankful for being taught at a young age to dress modestly and to not change my values for anything.
I know that this Gospel is the only true and restored Gospel on this earth. I know that if we just open our hearts unto the Lord and have faith in him all things are possible.

ShaShaShaShakespeare!

Well. What can i say? I am at sheakesperian festival! AnD it is amazing!

I have never been here before. It is an expierience that i will never forget.

We saw three plays: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, The Woman in Black, and Tuesdays with Morrie.

The William Shakespeare one was a comedy! It was halarious! But, the downside to this play was that it had alot of crude humor in it. Overall i laughed the whole time!

The Woman in Black. Wow this one was by far the best i my opinion. It was a ghost story. At a couple parts people screamed! That is how good it was! It was about this woman (the woman in black) and how she was getting revenge on people. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! The ending ws amazing!

Tuesdays with Morrie was the last play we saw. I was not a big fan of this one because it was sad and way to serious for me. It had the same actors as The woman in black!

All three of these plays had only three actors/actresses. it was amazing i didnt thin kit was possible but it is and they pulled it off wonderfully!

What happens when teenage girls get hyper!

What a day it has been!

I am going to go back and talk about the big BYU versus Utah State football game we went to!

Wow this was a wonderful crazy trip! Apparentlly BYU and Utah State are big rivals or at least this game was very important. Everyone was screaming and having a good time. But, me being me I have no idea what is going on! I dont know football I never have. So, I am screaming with everyone else and getting very hyper, and guess what we (being teenage girls) do? We get out the camera and start taking funny random pictures! We have a humungous group so we got tons of funny and some disturbing pictures.

My New Bishop (Jeff Guymon) is a big Utah State fan. But, the rest of the group need to be pursuaded. So he would run back and forth down the row screaming like a banchee whenever Utah State did a good play. As we were taking pictures we get one with him! He was so loud and pumped! It was halarious! :D

The later and darker it got the more hyper we became and naturally the more pictures we took.

When I get hyper I get fearless and so do all of my friends! We asked some boys in front of us (they were BYU fans by the way :T ) if they wanted to take a picture with us, they gave us a mean look as if they were thinking "I would never want to be caught dead taking a picture with you!" So when i saw this occur and being very hyper and fearless as I was. I started talking really loud, and I saw some Aggie fans (Utah State fans) standing up to leave. So i said "HEY GO UTAH STATE! Will you Aggie Fans come take a picture with us?" Guess what they were really nice comepared to the stinky BYU fans and we got a picture with them. They asked me if they were going to end up on someones facebook and i said yes of course! and now they are going to be on my blog too! :)

The game came to a close BYU won 38 to 10. We were more hyper still and made it out of the stadium with 80 pictures total. But, that was no the end. The police of guards or whoever was in charge blocked off the street right by the stadium. As we are walking across this street we are cheering for Utah State and being really loud! What do you know? We got noticed by some cute guys, and we just had to get another picture of course! Yes you guessed it they were Aggies fans, smelt good too!

But, this still is not the end to our little adventure to the car. We are almost there again and guess what we catch the eyes of three more good looking guys. HA beat that! These ones had just graduated from Uintah High school and they lived in

Vernal! But, the only downside to these three were that they were BYU fans. I guess not all BYU fans are jerks! Oh and to top it all off they smelt good! Wow! Why did all the people we meet have to smell so good? The world may never know!

Can you guess what happened next? Yes what goes up must eventually come down. By the time we hit the canyon we were all a little zoned out. I got home about 1:30 in the A.M. But, oh was it worth it. It is a trip I will never forget!

In with the new!

Wow! My first official blog post! I am hoping that this will work out. I always start things and then just forget about them but it wont happen with this i swear! Pinky-promise?
Since it is sunday it is only appropriate to talk about what happened today right? right!

Since moving to a new town six months ago I have become quite lazy. At my old ward church would start at 9:00 in the A.M. But, in my new ward it starts at 11:00 in the A.M. you would think that it would be easier to go at 11:00 but it isn't! it is so hard! but, i have realized in these last few months that it has tested me and helped me see if i have enough faith in the Lord.
Oh how great have the blessings been!

I woke up today and went with my Grandma Dixie (She is amazing by the way) to church.

DETOUR:
My grandma dixie is an amazing person. She supports me in all the things i do. She calls every sunday morning to wake me up and ell me she is going to come get me. I am so thankful for her.

We went to church and seeing as it was fast sunday that means only one thing: testimonies. Some people hate these but i love them. In my new ward it seems like most of the primary kids go up and grab the microphone, bring it close to their mouths and scream " I know that this church is true. I know President Monson is the true Prophet! I love Jesus Christ! AMEN!!" It is the cutest thing i love it! it helps so much!
